Sapan Verma is one of India’s youngest professional comedians, having done over 300 shows in the last three years. He has not only performed all across India, but also in Barcelona, Singapore and China. As one of the founding members of India’s busiest comedy company East India Comedy, Sapan has regularly performed at various auditoriums, college festivals and corporate events.

Apart from regularly featuring in the premiere ‘Best In Stand-up’ shows at Canvas Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store, Sapan has also worked on specials such as Traveling Pants, Comedy News Network, Digging The News, Character Assassination, Ghanta Awardsand Backbenchers. When not making people laugh, Sapan can be spotted at the nearest mirror setting his hair.

Sapan is also a freelance humour writer, which is a dignified way of saying he’s unemployed. He has written generation-ruining shows for Channel V, NDTV Goodtimes, UTV Bindass, Colors, Star Plus and several lesser channels he’s too ashamed to name. He has also written humour columns for Grazia, Maxim, Deccan Chronicle, JAM Magazine and MTV Noise Factory.

He’s pretty handy with events too, having written numerous events for Filmfare, Star Screen Awards, Reliance, Samsung, Cineyug,IAA Awards, ITA awards, Platinum Events and for celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana and Boman Irani. In his spare time, Sapan teaches media students at Jai Hind College to make sure they don’t grow up to be smarter than him.

Some of the corporate clients Sapan has performed and hosted events for include:

Indian Navy,HSBC, Microsoft, Deloitte, Essar, Puma, EXIM Bank, Bombay Realty,UTV Games, Directi, Ballentine’s, Dimensions Data, ISB Hyderabad, Oberoi International School, Go Sports Foundation.
